Sunan ad-Darimi 1213

Translation

✧ I asked al-Hasan and ʿAta’ about a man who is traveling with his wife and she menstruates, then becomes pure, and does not find water. They both said: “She performs tayammum and prays.” He said: I said to them: “May her husband have intercourse with her?” They both said: “Yes, the prayer is greater than that.”
