Sunan ad-Darimi 1133

✧ In the woman's menstruation, she wears a pad and the woman prays in impurity

أَخْبَرَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

«كُنَّ نِسَاؤُنَا يَخْتَضِبْنَ بِاللَّيْلِ فَإِذَا أَصْبَحْنَ فَتَحْنَهُ فَتَوَضَّأْنَ وَصَلَّيْنَ ثُمَّ يَخْتَضِبْنَ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ فَإِذَا كَانَ عِنْدَ الظُّهْرِ فَتَحْنَهُ فَتَوَضَّأْنَ وَصَلَّيْنَ بِأَحْسَنِ خِضَابٍ وَلَا يَمْنَعُ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ»

✧ "Our women used to dye their hands at night. In the morning they would open it, perform ablution, and pray; then they would dye after the prayer. When it was near noon they would open it, perform ablution, and pray with the best dye, and it did not prevent prayer."
