حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ قَالَ
سُئِلَ سُفْيَانُ أَيُجَامِعُ الرَّجُلُ امْرَأَتَهُ إِذَا انْقَطَعَ عَنْهَا الدَّمُ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ؟ فَقَالَ «لَا» فَقِيلَ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ تَرَكَتِ الْغُسْلَ يَوْمَيْنِ أَوْ أَيَّامًا قَالَ «تُسْتَتَابُ»

✧ Sufyan was asked: May a man have intercourse with his wife when the blood has ceased from her before she performs the ritual bath? He said: "No." It was said: What do you think if she leaves the ritual bath for two days or several days? He said: "She is asked to repent."
