Sunan ad-Darimi 1000

✧ In the menstruating woman, she prays in her garment when she becomes pure.

أَخْبَرَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَفْطَسُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْعَلَاءَ بْنَ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ قَالَ

الْمَرْأَةُ تَنْتَظِرُ مِنَ الْغُلَامِ ثَلَاثِينَ يَوْمًا وَمِنَ الْجَارِيَةِ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا يَعْنِي النُّفَسَاءَ قَالَ مَرْوَانُ هُوَ قَوْلُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ وقالَ الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ هُمَا سَوَاءٌ

Translation

✧ The woman waits thirty days for a boy and forty days for a girl—meaning the one in postnatal bleeding. Marwan said: This is the view of Sa'id b. 'Abd al-'Aziz. Al-Awza'i said: They are equal.
