حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو صَالِحٍ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْفُرَاتِ أَبُو مَسْعُودٍ نا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ غَنَّامٍ عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ عَنْ أُمِّ فَرْوَةَ قَالَتْ

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَيُّ الْعَمَلِ أَفْضَلُ قَالَ الصَّلَاةُ لَأَوَّلِ وَقْتِهَا

    يرويه عبيد الله بن عمر واختلف عنه فرواه محمد بن حمير الحمصي عن عبيد الله بن عمر عن نافع عن ابن عمر وقيل عنه عن عبد الله بن عمر أخي عبيد الله بن عمر عن نافع عن ابن عمر وهو وهم والمحفوظ عن عبيد الله وعن عبد الله عن القاسم بن غنام عن أم فروة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم

    machine translationʿUbaydullāh b. ʿUmar narrates it, and there is disagreement about it from him. Muḥammad b. Ḥumayr al-Ḥimṣī narrated it from ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿUmar, from Nāfiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar. It was also said from him: from ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar, the brother of ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿUmar, from Nāfiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar, and this is an error (wahm). The preserved (maḥfūẓ) version, from ʿUbaydullāh and from ʿAbdullāh, is from al-Qāsim b. Ghannām, from Umm Farwah, from the Prophet ﷺ.
