حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ السَّرَخْسِيُّ نا بَكْرُ بْنُ خِدَاشٍ نا قَطَنٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى الثَّعْلَبِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى قَالَ انْطَلَقْتُ
أَنَا وَأَبِي إِلَى عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ لِعَشَاءٍ فَتَعَشَّى ثُمَّ سَقَانَا ثُمَّ خَرَجْنَا فِي الظُّلْمَةِ فَلَمْ نَهْتَدِ فَأَرْسَلَ مَعَنَا بِشُعْلَةٍ مِنْ نَارٍ وَخَرَجْنَا
