نا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ السُّلَمِيُّ نا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ وَسُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالَا نا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ قَالَ

قُلْتُ لِسَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ أَكَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ إِذَا مَضَتْ أَرْبَعَةُ أَشْهُرٍ فَهِيَ وَاحِدَةٌ بَائِنَةٌ وَلَا عِدَّةَ عَلَيْهَا وَتَزَوَّجْ إِنْ شَاءَتْ قَالَ نَعَمْ

✧ I said to Sa'id b. Jubayr: Did Ibn Abbas say that when four months have elapsed, it is one irrevocable pronouncement of divorce, and there is no waiting period upon her, and she may marry if she wishes? He said: Yes.
