نا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ نا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ زَنْجُوَيْهِ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الصُّورِيُّ نا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ أَنَّ يَعْلَى أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ

إِذَا حَرَّمَ الرَّجُلُ عَلَيْهِ امْرَأَتَهُ فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ يَمِينٌ يُكَفِّرُهَا وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ

✧ When a man declares his wife forbidden to himself, it is only an oath which he must expiate. Ibn Abbas said: "Indeed you have in the Messenger of Allah an excellent example."
