That she was married to Abū ʿAmr b. Ḥafṣ b. al-Mughīrah, and he divorced her with the last of three divorces. She claimed that she came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and asked his ruling about her leaving her house, so he commanded her to move to the house of Ibn Umm Maktūm. But Marwān insisted on accusing Fāṭimah regarding the divorced woman's leaving her house. And ʿUrwah claimed that ʿĀʾishah rejected that from Fāṭimah, and that ʿĀʾishah forbade the divorced woman to leave her house until her waiting period (ʿiddah) was complete.
