نا أَبُو بَكْرٍ نا أَبُو حُمَيْدٍ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ نا حَجَّاجٌ نا شُعْبَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ مَاهَانَ يَسْأَلُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ ثَلَاثًا فَقَالَ سَعِيدٌ سُئِلَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ مِائَةً فَقَالَ ثَلَاثٌ تُحَرِّمُ عَلَيْكَ امْرَأَتَكَ وَسَائِرُهُنَّ وِزْرٌ اتَّخَذْتَ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ هُزُوًا

Translation

✧ I heard Mahan asking Sa'id b. Jubayr about a man who divorced his wife three times. Sa'id said: Ibn Abbas was asked about a man who divorced his wife a hundred times, and he said, "Three make your wife forbidden to you, and the rest are a sin. You have taken the signs of Allah in mockery."
