✧ What Is Narrated of the Prophet's ﷺ Saying: 'The Ears Are Part of the Head'

حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ نا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ نا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ

الْأُذُنَانِ مِنَ الرَّأْسِ مَوْقُوفٌ تَابَعَهُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْفَرَّاءُ وَغَيْرُهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ وَرُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيِّ

✧ The ears are part of the head, as his own statement (mawquf). Ibrahim b. Musa al-Farra' and others followed him from Abd al-Rahim. And it is narrated from Abu Umamah al-Bahili
