نا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْبَزَّازُ نا رِزْقُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ نا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ
أَقِيلُوا ذَوِي الْهَيْئَاتِ عَثَرَاتِهِمْ إِلَّا حَدًّا مِنْ حُدُودِ اللَّهِ

machine translationIbn al-Qaṭṭān said: The second addition found in al-Nasāʾī shows the break (inqiṭāʿ) in the hadith of Abū Dāwūd between Muḥammad b. Abī Bakr and ʿAmrah. Ibn ʿAdī said: No one narrated this hadith except ʿAbd al-Malik, and it is rejected (munkar) with this chain of transmission. Ibn Ṭāhir said in his takhrīj of the hadiths of al-Shihāb, after mentioning the statement of Ibn ʿAdī: This hadith was also narrated by Abū Ḥurrah Wāṣil b. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Raqāshī, from Muḥammad, from ʿAmrah, from ʿĀʾishah, and Abū Ḥurrah is weak (ḍaʿīf). It was also narrated by Abū Bakr b. Nāfiʿ, from Muḥammad b. Abī Bakr, from ʿAmrah. I say: This Abū Bakr is also weak (ḍaʿīf). Abū ʿUthmān Saʿīd b. ʿUthmān al-Bardhaʿī said: I heard Abū Zurʿah al-Rāzī say: Abū Bakr b. Nāfiʿ is an eminent man, but Abū Bakr b. Nāfiʿ, the narrator of the hadith of ʿĀʾishah "Overlook the slips of people of good standing," is weak (ḍaʿīf).
