نا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى نا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى نا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ

عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَتَبَ إِلَى أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ كِتَابًا وَبَعَثَ بِهِ مَعَ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ فِيهِ وَأَنَّ الْعُمْرَةَ الْحَجُّ الْأَصْغَرُ وَلَا يَمَسَّ الْقُرْآنَ إِلَّا طَاهِرٌ

✧ He ﷺ wrote to the people of Yemen a letter and sent it with Amr b. Hazm, in which [he said]: 'The 'umrah is the lesser Hajj, and none but the pure may touch the Qur'an.'
