machine translationIbn Jurayj narrates it, and there is disagreement about it from him. Al-Walīd b. Muslim narrated it from Ibn Jurayj from Abū al-Zinād from al-Aʿraj from Abū Hurayrah. Abū Qurrah narrated it from Ibn Jurayj from Ziyād b. Saʿd from Abū al-Zinād from ʿUrwah from ʿĀʾishah. Abū ʿĀṣim said from Ibn Jurayj from Ziyād b. Saʿd from Abū al-Zinād from someone who informed him, from ʿĀʾishah. The statement of Abū ʿĀṣim is closer to the correct one. The hadith of al-Walīd b. Muslim was mentioned to Aḥmad b. Ḥanbal, and he said: Ibn Jurayj did not hear from Abū al-Zinād; he only narrates from Ziyād b. Saʿd from Abū al-Zinād.
