✧ Upon him be peace, a drink was brought to him on the day of the conquest of Makkah, and he drank, then he handed it to me and I drank. Then I said, 'O Prophet of God, I was fasting.' He said to her, 'Were you making up anything for yourself?' She said, 'No.' He said, 'Then it does not harm you.' There is disagreement from Simak.

machine translationThis hadith has inconsistency (iḍṭirāb) in both its text and its chain. As for the inconsistency of its chain, Simāk differed about it: at times he narrated it from Abū Ṣāliḥ, at times from Jaʿdah, and at times from Hārūn. As for Abū Ṣāliḥ, he is Bādhān, also called Bādhām; they declared him weak (ḍaʿīf).
