نا أَبُو بَكْرٍ نا أَبُو الْأَزْهَرِ نا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنا مَعْمَرٌ وَابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ
أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَجْعَلُ الْهِرَّ مِثْلَ الْكَلْبِ يُغْسَلُ سَبْعًاقَالَ وَنا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ الْهِرُّ قَالَ هِيَ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الْكَلْبِ أَوْ شَرٌّ مِنْهُ

✧ He used to regard the cat as like the dog: it is washed seven times. He said: And Ibn Jurayj narrated to us; he said: I said to 'Ata', 'The cat?' He said, 'It is in the status of the dog, or worse than it.'
