machine translationAbū Isḥāq narrated it, and there is disagreement about him. Abū Bakr b. ʿAyyāsh narrated it from Abū Isḥāq, from al-Ḥārith, from ʿAlī, and said in it: "half a ṣāʿ of wheat." There is also disagreement about him concerning whether it is raised (marfūʿ). Abū Bakr Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh b. Ghaylān raised it, from al-Ḥasan b. al-Ṣabbāḥ al-Bazzār, from Abū Bakr b. ʿAyyāsh, but he erred in raising it, while others narrate it as stopped (mawqūf) at the Companion. Abū ʿUmays, whose name is ʿUtbah b. ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUtbah b. Masʿūd, also narrated it from Abū Isḥāq, from al-Ḥārith, from ʿAlī, and said in it: "a ṣāʿ of wheat," and he too made it stopped (mawqūf). The correct report is the stopped one (mawqūf).
