machine translationNothing authentic (ṣaḥīḥ) is reported on this subject except the mursal report of Mūsā b. Ṭalḥah.
in سنن الدارقطني, p. 1912 - al-Tirmidhi
machine translationAl-Bazzār said: A group narrated it from Mūsā b. Ṭalḥah from the Prophet ﷺ as a mursal report (with the Companion omitted). We do not know anyone who said "from his father" except al-Ḥārith b. Nabhān, from ʿAṭāʾ, and we do not know of any report of ʿAṭāʾ from Mūsā b. Ṭalḥah from his father except this hadith.
in سنن الدارقطني, p. 1912 - Dāraquṭnī
machine translationThere is disagreement about it from Mūsā b. Ṭalḥah. It was narrated from ʿAṭāʾ b. al-Sāʾib: al-Ḥārith b. Nabhān said, from ʿAṭāʾ, from Mūsā b. Ṭalḥah; and Khālid al-Wāsiṭī said, from ʿAṭāʾ, from Mūsā b. Ṭalḥah, as a mursal report, that the Prophet ﷺ... It was also narrated from al-Aʿmash, from Mūsā b. Ṭalḥah, from his father. Al-Ḥakam b. ʿUtaybah, ʿAbd al-Malik b. ʿUmayr and ʿAmr b. ʿUthmān b. Mawhib narrated it from Mūsā b. Ṭalḥah from Muʿādh b. Jabal. It was also said: from Mūsā b. Ṭalḥah from ʿUmar; and it was said: from Mūsā b. Ṭalḥah from Anas; and it was said: from Mūsā b. Ṭalḥah as mursal. The soundest of all of these is the mursal.
