أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْبَاقِي بْنُ قَانِعٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْبَلْخِيُّ ثنا قُتَيْبَةُ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ مِرْدَاسٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ثنا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ عَامِرِ بْنِ وَاثِلَةَ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ
عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ إِذَا ارْتَحَلَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَزِيغَ الشَّمْسُ أَخَّرَ الظُّهْرَ إِلَى الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى يَجْمَعَهَا مَعَ الْعَصْرِ فَيُصَلِّيهُمَا جَمِيعًا وَإِذَا ارْتَحَلَ بَعْدَ زَيْغِ الشَّمْسِ صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ وَالْعَصْرَ ثُمَّ سَارَ وَكَانَ إِذَا ارْتَحَلَ قَبْلَ الْمَغْرِبِ أَخَّرَ الْمَغْرِبَ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَهَا مَعَ الْعِشَاءِ وَإِذَا ارْتَحَلَ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ عَجَّلَ الْعِشَاءَ فَصَلَّاهَا مَعَ الْمَغْرِبِ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَهَذَا لَمْ يَرْوِهِ إِلَّا قُتَيْبَةُ

✧ upon him be peace: During the expedition of Tabuk, when he departed before the sun had declined, he delayed Zuhr until Asr, then combined them and prayed them together. When he departed after the sun had declined, he prayed Zuhr and Asr, then set out. When he departed before Maghrib, he delayed Maghrib until he prayed it with Isha. When he departed after Maghrib, he prayed Isha early and prayed it with Maghrib. Abu Dawud said: No one narrated this except Qutaybah.
