حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ثنا شَبَابَةُ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ صَلَّى صَلَاةً فَقَالَ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ عَرَضَ لِي يُفْسِدُ عَلَيَّ الصَّلَاةَ فَأَمْكَنَنِي اللَّهُ مِنْهُ فَذَعَتُّهُ وَلَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ أُوثِقَهُ إِلَى سَارِيَةٍ حَتَّى تُصْبِحُوا وَتَنْظُرُوا إِلَيْهِ أَجْمَعُونَ أَوْ كُلُّكُمْ فَذَكَرْتُ قَوْلَ سُلَيْمَانَ رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مُلْكًا لَا يَنْبَغِي لِأَحَدٍ مِنْ بَعْدِي فَرَدَّهُ اللَّهُ خَائِبًا
