حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ صَحِبْتُ طَلْحَةَ بْنَ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ وَسَعْدًا وَالْمِقْدَادَ بْنَ الأَسْوَدِ وَعَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ ؓ فَمَا سَمِعْتُ أَحَدًا مِنْهُمْ يُحَدِّثُ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِلاَّ أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ طَلْحَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ يَوْمِ أُحُدٍ

I was in the company of Talha bin 'Ubaidullah, Saʿd, Al-Miqdad bin Al-Aswad and ʿAbdur Rahman bin ʿAuf and I heard none of them narrating anything from Messenger of Allah ﷺ but Talha was talking about the day (of the battle) of Uhud.
