✧ Ibrahim ﷺ did not lie except for three lies: two concerning Allah, the Exalted—his saying: “Rather, the eldest of them did this,” then he glanced at the stars and said, “Indeed, I am sick”—and he passed by a tyrant and his wife was with him, so he said: “Say he is my brother, for I am your brother in faith and you are my sister in faith. There is no believer on earth besides us.” He feared that if he said “my wife,” the tyrant would overpower him and take her.
