✧ We were with the Messenger of God ﷺ on a journey, and there we saw camels with their udders tied with tree bark. We dispersed among them and started milking them. Then a call was made among us, and the Messenger of God ﷺ stood up, praised God and extolled Him, and then said: These camels belong to a Muslim household, and in their udders is their sustenance. So do not milk them except with the permission of their owners. A man said: Then what is allowed for one of us from the property of his brother if he is so commanded? He said: He may eat and drink and not carry away.
