✧ A Bedouin came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a rabbit he had roasted, and he brought with it its condiment and seasoning. He placed it before him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ refrained and did not eat, but he ordered his companions to eat. The Bedouin also refrained and did not eat. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "What prevents you from eating?" He said: "I fast three days of every month." He said: "If you are fasting, then fast the white days (ayyam al-ghurr)."
