حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى، نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ:
أَقْبَلَ سَعْدٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: إِنَّ فِي وَجْهِ سَعْدٍ لَخَيْرًا. قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، هَلَكَ كِسْرَى. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: أَوَّلُ النَّاسِ هَلَاكًا فَارِسُ وَالْعَرَبُ

✧ Sa'd came to the Prophet ﷺ, and the Prophet ﷺ said: Indeed, in the face of Sa'd there is good. He said: O Messenger of Allah, Chosroes has perished. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The first people to perish are the Persians and the Arabs.
