✧ The one-eyed Dajjal, the Messiah of misguidance, will emerge toward the east, in a time of discord among the people and division. He will reach whatever Allah wills him to reach of the earth in forty days—Allah knows best what their measure is. The believers will meet severe hardship. Then ʿĪsā b. Maryam ﷺ will descend from heaven and lead the people in prayer. When he raises his head from his bowing, he will say: 'Allah hears the one who praises Him. Allah has killed the Dajjal and the believers have prevailed.' I swear that the Messenger of Allah, Abū al-Qāsim, the truthful, the one who is believed, ﷺ said: 'It is true, and indeed it is near, for everything that is coming is near.'
