وَحَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى، نَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ:

قَسَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَيْنَ أَصْحَابِهِ تَمْرًا، فَكَانَ بَعْضُهُمْ يَقْرُنُ، فَنَهَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ يَقْرُنَ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ صَاحِبِهِ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ divided dates among his companions, and some of them would pair them up. The Prophet ﷺ forbade pairing them up except with the permission of his companion.
