✧ The deaf man who cannot hear anything, the fool, the very old man, and a man who died in the interval [between prophets] will be brought before Allah. The deaf man will say: 'My Lord, Islam came and I could not hear anything.' The fool will say: 'My Lord, Islam came and I could not understand anything.' The one who died in the interval will say: 'My Lord, no messenger of Yours came to me.' - Abu Bakr al-Bazzar said: 'And I forgot what the fourth one said.' - He said: He will take their covenant to obey Him, then He, Blessed and Exalted, will send to them: 'Enter the Fire.' By the One in Whose Hand is Muhammad's soul, if they entered it, it would have been coolness and peace for them.
