حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ قَالَ: نَا كَيْسَانُ أَبُو عُمَرَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ بِلَالٍ قَالَ: قَالَ عَلِيٌّ:

أَوْصَانِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ لَا يُغَسِّلَهُ أَحَدٌ غَيْرِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَرَى عَوْرَتِي إِلَّا طُمِسَتْ عَيْنَاهُ، قَالَ عَلِيٌّ: فَكَانَ الْعَبَّاسُ، وَأُسَامَةُ يُنَاوِلَانِي الْمَاءَ مِنْ وَرَاءِ السِّتْرِ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ enjoined me that no one should wash him except me, for if anyone saw my nakedness his eyes would be blinded. 'Ali said: Al-'Abbas and Usamah would hand me water from behind the curtain.
