✧ I heard Muhammad b. Ali, and he was asked about the saying of the Prophet ﷺ: 'The adulterer does not commit adultery while he is a believer, and the thief does not steal while he is a believer.' He said: He drew a wide circle on the ground, then drew a circle in the middle of the circle, and said: The first circle is Islam, and the circle in the middle of the circle is faith. So when he commits adultery, he goes out of faith to Islam, and nothing takes him out of Islam except shirk.
