✧ I will tell you about people's affairs and their differences: A man who is quick to anger and quick to relent — there is nothing against him nor for him; it is even (a wash). A man who is slow to anger and quick to be pleased — that is for him and not against him. A man who is quick to anger and slow to be pleased — that is against him and not for him. A man who collects what is owed to him and pays what he owes — that is neither for him nor against him. A man who collects what is owed to him but delays paying people what is owed to them — that is against him and not for him.
