حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ زَنْجُوَيْهِ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، نَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
لَنْ يُنْجِيَ أَحَدًا مِنْكُمْ عَمَلُهُ، قَالُوا: وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ؟ قَالَ: وَلَا أَنَا، إِلَّا أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِي اللهُ مِنْهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ وَفَضْلٍ، وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُنِي أَنَا وَعِيسَى بِمَا جَنَى هَذَيْنِ لَأَوْبَقَنَا، وَأَشَارَ بِالسَّبَّابَةِ وَالْوُسْطَى

✧ None of you will be saved by his deeds. They said: Not even you, O Messenger of God? He said: Not even me, unless God envelops me with mercy and grace from Him. And if He were to take me and Isa to account for what these two have earned, He would destroy us—and he pointed with his index and middle fingers.

Muʿāwiyah b. Dhakwān b. Abī Sufyān al-Qayṣarānī, I did not find anyone who gave a biography of him. The rest of their men are men of the Ṣaḥīḥ, except Muḥammad b. ʿAbd al-Malik b. Zanjawayh, and he is trustworthy (thiqah).
