✧ What 'Abd al-Rahman al-A'raj narrated from Abu Hurayrah

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، نَا خَالِدٌ، نَا سُهَيْلٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

لَا تَتَّخِذُوا بُيُوتَكُمْ مَقَابِرَ ; فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَفِرُّ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ الَّذِي تُقْرَأُ فِيهِ سُورَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ

Translation

    ولحديث أبي هريرة أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال صلوا في بيوتكم ولا تتخذوها قبورا ولحديث واثلة بن الأسقع عن أبي مرثد الغنوي عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه قال لا تصلوا إلى القبور ولا تجلسوا عليها وهذان حديثان ثابتان من جهة الإسناد
