حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الْقُرَشِيُّ، نَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ الْمُخْتَارِ، عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَكْثُرَ الْمَالُ وَيَفِيضَ، حَتَّى يَخْرُجَ الرَّجُلُ بِزَكَاةِ مَالِهِ فَلَا يُصِيبُ مَنْ يَقْبَلُهَا مِنْهُ، وَحَتَّى يَكْثُرَ الْهَرْجُ، قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَمَا الْهَرْجُ ؟ قَالَ: الْقَتْلُ. وَحَتَّى تَعُودَ أَرْضُ الْعَرَبِ مُرُوجًا وَأَنْهَارًا

✧ The Hour will not come until wealth increases and overflows, until a man goes out with the zakat of his wealth and finds no one to accept it from him; and until killing (al-harj) becomes widespread. They said: "O Messenger of Allah, what is al-harj?" He said: "Killing." And until the land of the Arabs returns to being meadows and rivers.
