✧ What 'Abd al-Rahman al-A'raj narrated from Abu Hurayrah

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ، نَا عَارِمٌ وَدَاوُدُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ، قَالَا: نَا حَمَّادٌ، نَا عَاصِمٌ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
لَا يَزْنِي الزَّانِي حِينَ يَزْنِي وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ، وَلَا يَسْرِقُ حِينَ يَسْرِقُ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ، وَلَا يَشْرَبُ الْخَمْرَ حِينَ يَشْرَبُهَا وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ، يُنْزَعُ الْإِيمَانُ مِنْ قَلْبِهِ، فَإِنْ تَابَ تَابَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ
Translation

✧ The adulterer does not commit adultery while he is a believer, and the thief does not steal while he is a believer, and the drinker does not drink wine while he is a believer. Faith is removed from his heart, but if he repents, Allah accepts his repentance.
