✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say to Aktham b. al-Jawn: 'O Aktham, I saw Amr b. Luhayy b. Qama'ah dragging his intestines in the Fire, and I have never seen a man more resembling another man than you resemble him.' Aktham said: 'O Messenger of Allah, will his resemblance harm me?' He said: 'No; he is a disbeliever. He was the first to change the religion of Ishmael, so he let loose the sā'ibah, slit the ear of the bahīrah, joined the wāsilah, and protected the hāmī.'
