حَدَّثَنَا السَّكَنُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَا: نَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ قَالَ: نَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

خَيْرُ أَكْحَالِكُمُ الْإِثْمِدُ؛ يُنْبِتُ الشَّعَرَ، وَيَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ

    وهذا الحديث رواه زياد بن الربيع عن هشام بن حسان عن محمد بن المنكدر عن جابر وأحسب أنه أخطأ فيه لأنه لو كان عن هشام عن ابن المنكدر عن جابر محفوظا كان هشام عن ابن المنكدر عن جابر أقرب عليه من هشام عن عمر بن محمد عن أبيه عن أبي هريرة وقد ذكرنا أن محمد بن المنكدر لم يسمع من أبي هريرة فأمسكنا أن تذكر عنه إلا هذه الأحاديث لتبين أنه لم يسمع منه
