حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى وَالْجَرَّاحُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ قَالَا: نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الدَّبَّاسُ قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ:

مَنْ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةً عَلَى صَدَاقٍ وَهُوَ يَنْوِي أَلَّا يُؤَدِّيَهُ إِلَيْهَا فَهُوَ زَانٍ، وَمَنِ ادَّانَ دَيْنًا وَهُوَ يَنْوِي أَلَّا يُؤَدِّيَهُ إِلَى صَاحِبِهِ - أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ: - فَهُوَ سَارِقٌ

✧ Whoever marries a woman with a dowry while intending not to pay it to her is an adulterer, and whoever incurs a debt while intending not to repay it to its owner — I think he said — is a thief.
