حَدَّثَنَا الْجَرَّاحُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُقَاتِلٍ الْقُشَيْرِيُّ قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ الْجُمَحِيُّ قَالَ: نَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

إِنَّ لِلْمُنَافِقِينَ عَلَامَاتٍ يُعْرَفُونَ بِهَا؛ تَحِيَّتُهُمْ لَعْنَةٌ، وَطَعَامُهُمْ نُهْبَةٌ، وَغَنِيمَتُهُمْ غُلُولٌ، لَا يَأْتُونَ الْمَسَاجِدَ إِلَّا هَجْرًا، وَلَا يَأْتُونَ الصَّلَاةَ إِلَّا دَبْرًا، خُشُبٌ بِاللَّيْلِ سُخُبٌ بِالنَّهَارِ.

✧ Indeed, the hypocrites have signs by which they are known: their greeting is a curse, their food is plunder, their spoils are embezzlement. They do not come to the mosques except reluctantly, and they do not come to prayer except at its end—sleeping logs by night, clamorous by day.
