✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent out a military expedition, and Abu Hurayrah was among them. He said, 'If you meet Habbār b. al-Aswad and Nāfiʿ b. ʿAbd ʿAmr, burn them with fire, but do not kill them.' They had goaded Zaynab, daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when she set out from Makkah to the Prophet ﷺ, and she remained ill until she died. When the Prophet ﷺ bid us farewell, he said, 'I had commanded you to burn Habbār and Nāfiʿ, but it is not appropriate for anyone to punish with the punishment of Allah. If you meet them, kill them.'
