✧ Two women from Hudhayl fought, and one of them threw a stone at the other, striking her belly, killing her and causing her to miscarry her fetus. The Messenger of God ﷺ ruled that her blood money be paid by the other's 'aqila, and that for the fetus a ghurra of a male or female slave be paid. A man said, 'Should we pay blood money for one who did not eat, drink, see, or cry out? Such a one is worthless.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'This is from the brethren of the soothsayers.'
