حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ عَدِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي عِمَارَةَ الزَّارِعُ، نَا السَّمَيْدَعُ بْنُ وَاهِبٍ، نَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ وَعَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، قَالَا: نَا سَالِمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ:

أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ مَتَى السَّاعَةُ ؟ قَالَ: مَا أَعْدَدْتَ لَهَا ؟ قَالَ: مَا أَعْدَدْتُ لَهَا مِنْ كَبِيرٍ غَيْرَ أَنِّي أُحِبُّ اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when is the Hour?' He said: 'What have you prepared for it?' He said: 'I have not prepared much for it, except that I love Allah and His Messenger.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'A person will be with the one he loves.'
