حَدَّثَنَا رِزْقُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، نَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحِمَّانِيُّ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ

فِي قَوْلِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَأَقْوَمُ قِيلا قَالَ: وَأَصْدَقُ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ: إِنَّهَا تُقْرَأُ " وَأَقُومُ "، فَقَالَ: أَقْوَمُ وَأَصْدَقُ وَاحِدٌ

Translation

✧ Regarding God's saying, mighty and majestic, "and more upright of speech" (Q 73:6), he said: and more truthful. It was said to him, "It is read as 'wa-aqwamu'." He said: "aqwamu" and "asdaqu" are one and the same.
