وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ نَا أَبُو إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْمُؤَدِّبُ، نَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ:
أَنَّ امْرَأَةً اعْتَرَفَتْ بِالزِّنَا أَرْبَعَ مَرَّاتٍ وَهِيَ حُبْلَى فَقَالَ لَهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ ارْجِعِي حَتَّى تَضَعِي، ثُمَّ جَاءَتْ وَقَدْ وَضَعَتْهُ فَقَالَ: أَرْضِعِيهِ حَتَّى تَفْطِمِيهِ ثُمَّ جَاءَتْ فَرُجِمَتْ فَذَكَرُوهَا، قَالَ: لَقَدْ تَابَتْ تَوْبَةً لَوْ تَابَهَا صَاحِبُ مَكْسٍ لَغُفِرَ لَهُ
Translation

✧ A woman confessed to fornication four times while she was pregnant. The Prophet ﷺ said to her: Go back until you give birth. Then she came after she had given birth, and he said: Breastfeed him until you wean him. Then she came and was stoned. They mentioned her, and he said: She has repented with such a repentance that if a tax collector were to repent similarly, he would be forgiven.
