✧ Ubaydullah b. Abi Bakr b. Anas on the authority of Anas

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، نَا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

انْصُرْ أَخَاكَ ظَالِمًا أَوْ مَظْلُومًا قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، هَذَا نَصَرْتُهُ مَظْلُومً، فَكَيْفَ بِهِ ظَالِمٌ ؟ قَالَ: تَمْنَعُهُ، أَوْ تَرُدُّهُ عَنْ ظُلْمِهِ، أَوْ كَلِمَةً تُشْبِهُهَا

Translation

✧ Help your brother whether he is wronging or wronged. It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I help him if he is wronged, but how about if he is the wronger?' He said: 'You prevent him or restrain him from his wrongdoing,' or similar words.
