حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، نَا الْجَلْدُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ; أَنَّهُ قَالَ:
لَمْ نَرَ مِثْلَ الَّذِي بَلَغَنَا عَنْ رَبِّنَا تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى، ثُمَّ لَمْ نَخْرُجْ لَهُ مِنْ كُلِّ أَهْلٍ وَمَالٍ، أَنْ تَجَاوَزَ لَنَا عَمَّا دُونَ الْكَبَائِرِ، يَقُولُ اللهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى: إِنْ تَجْتَنِبُوا كَبَائِرَ مَا تُنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ نُكَفِّرْ عَنْكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَنُدْخِلْكُمْ مُدْخَلا كَرِيمًا

✧ We have not seen the like of what has reached us from our Lord, Blessed and Exalted, then we did not expend for it every family and wealth: that He may overlook for us what is less than the major sins. Allah, Blessed and Exalted, says: 'If you avoid the major sins which you are forbidden, We will expiate from you your minor sins and admit you to a noble entrance.'
