حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هَانِئٍ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارِ بْنِ بِلَالٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ; أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ:
الْمُلْكُ فِي قُرَيْشٍ، لَهُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ حَقٌّ وَلَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ مِثْلُهُ، مَا حَكَمُوا فَعَدَلُوا وَاسْتُرْحِمُوا فَرَحِمُوا، وَعَاهَدُوا فَوَفَوْا، فَمَنْ لَمْ يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ مِنْهُمْ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ
Translation

✧ Rule belongs to Quraysh. They have a right over you, and you have the like over them: as long as they judge and are just, are asked for mercy and show mercy, and make a covenant and fulfill it. Whoever of them does not do that, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people.
