حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ جَمِيلٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَذْعُورٍ، قَالَا: نَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ، نَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ;
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَرَّتْ بِهِ جِنَازَةٌ فَقَامَ لَهَا، فَقِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّهَا جِنَازَةُ يَهُودِيٍّ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّمَا قُمْتُ لِمَا مَعَهَا مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ، أَوْ إِنَّمَا قُمْتُ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ

✧ A funeral procession passed by the Prophet ﷺ and he stood up for it. It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah, it is a Jewish funeral.' He said: 'I only stood because of the angels that were with it,' or 'I only stood for the angels.'
