✧ When we were with the Prophet ﷺ, we saw in ourselves what we liked; but when we returned to our families and mingled with them, we disapproved of ourselves. They mentioned that to the Prophet ﷺ, and he said: “If you remained as you are when you are with me in seclusion, the angels would shake your hands with their wings—but [it is] an hour and an hour.”
