حَدَّثَنَا طَالُوتُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ، نَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ، نَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ;

أَنَّ رَجُلًا اطَّلَعَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَمَعَ النَّبِيِّ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ عُودٌ، فَقَالَ: لَوْ أَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ تَنْظُرُنِي لَطَعَنْتُ بِهِ فِي عَيْنَيْكَ، أَوْ نَحْوَ هَذَا

Translation

✧ A man looked in on the Prophet ﷺ while the Prophet ﷺ had a stick with him. He said: If I knew that you were looking at me, I would poke you in the eyes with it—or something like that.
